Same copper pipe has pinholes three times in twelve months

Should all pipes in the house be replaced

Hi Michelle Sounds like the pipe work was poorly installed in the first place. When soldering we use flux to oxidise the pipe to allow the solder to run and melt and form a sealed joint. This must then be cleaned off thoroughly. If it is not cleaned properly, it can cause the pipe to go green and can pin hole. I think it's best if you have a look at some other joints in the copper and assess it from there. May be worth cleaning the pipe work with wire wool. Sam (eps)
