How can we do a temporary repair

Hi Margaret You need to pin point exactly where it is leaking from. I don't think it is advisable to do a temporary fix because it will end up costing you more in the long run. If it leaks when you flush it is most likely to be from the flush pipe (if you have one) or the actual soil pipe connection at the rear of the toilet. Best way to tackle it is if you put up an ad on ratedpeople.com with a budget of £100. Up to three tradesman will buy the lead to quote for the job. Best of luck Sam (eps)
