The water in my dishwasher isn't draining away, how can I fix this?

Posted by Jodie Butt, on
There is a pool of water in the bottom of my dishwasher, it just won't drain away. There are no blockages that I can see. I'm just wondering what might be causing this and if there's a way for me to fix it without the need for a plumber? Thanks J

Hi Jodie Have a look at the waste/drain away section at the bottom of the dishwasher, make sure it is totally clear as food debris can clogg up the area, if there are no blockages then you need to look st the pump which pushes/drains the water away, and that I am afraid is another task. You will need assistance by way of, engineer. try your local service engineer for the make of the machine, or put a descriptive add on rated. Good Luck Steve
