Plumber or heating engineer?

Posted by Claire Pinchard, on
I am looking to remove existing radiator, and fit a new one on a different wall in the same room. I have a combi boiler. Do I need a plumber or heating engineer?

Hi Claire, It depends on your existing configuration as to whether you require the specific skills of a heating engineer. Most plumbers will be able to undertake the works if you know that your system is designed in an efficient way, but if your system is not configured in a standard manner (pipe work set up) or is unknown, it may be advisable to hire a heating engineer. Just be sure to give as much detail as you can when posting your job requirements. Good luck, Declan
