Hot water brown when hot water or heating switched on replaced primatic cylinder and still brown

Hi Ann If it's brown it could be blown seal on a cylinder or diverter valve faulty mixing CH water with Hot water Regards Rafal

Your central heating and hot water is mixing, seek the help of a good heating engineer.

Hi Anne It seems you have a very old system being a primatic, may be you have blown the air seal in the cylinder if it has been filled to fast, you must re drain the cylinder & fill very slowly. Hope this helps regards Steve.
