It sounds like you boiler and system is slugged up and over heating, time to call in a heating engineer to take a look and advise you.

We have an Ideal Boiler (located in the bedroom) which keeps tripping out every few seconds, reignites and trips again, it repeats this constantly until the timer has come to the end.
Also, none of the radiators downstairs work. (might not be connected?)
