Have a washing machine which needs to be unplumbed. is this easy to do

Hi Pat this is a relatively simple job, you need to locate the isolation valves for the water feed ( your washer may have just a cold feed or if it's older it maybe hot and cold) to the washing machine these are normally in the sink unit. Turn the valves off and disconnect the hoses , it maybe worthwhile having a tub to drain any water into. You will also have to disconnect the waste hose this maybe connected to the sink waste ( make sure you cap off the connection or water will escape when the sink drains) or be inserted in a waste pipe behind the washing machine.
