The boiler in my rented property seems to be cutting out increasingly frequently and the tenants have to restart it every time this happens. Given the boiler is 14 years old, I feel it is time to replace it and I would like to do so with a good quality, efficient combi boiler that will last for some years to come such as a Baxi, Vaillant or Worcester.
The property is a 4-bedroomed house in SW England. Most of my radiators are already fitted with TRVs. Please can you recommend the brands of boiler I suggest, tell me how much I should expect to pay for the supply and installation of the boiler and whether you would also recommend a power flush and fitting of a magnetic filter as a part of the overall installation, and if so, how much the installation would cost in total.
