Can i mkae one rad come on hot and turn it of when i like ?

We have a conservatory and its cold out there . it has a rad but when its cold out there it warm inside and we dontwant to turn whole house on to warm it up . can it be linked to hot water like they used to do in bathrooms or is there another way
