We have recently noticed a dry dark patch on the ceiling of the kitchen which is situated directly below the en-suite shower. We are worried that the discoloration is due to water leakage but we are not sure as the patch is dry and feels no different to the rest of the ceiling. We have tested it after taking a shower upstairs and it remains dry. Can anyone offer some light of what it may be and what sort of professional help would we need? Thanks.
