Sink and boiler issues

Yesterday My kitchen sink became well and truly blocked. This morning my boiler won't work and says there is a problem with the ignition. Could these two things be linked and what sort of tradesman do I need?

I think they could be linked, but would have to have a look. You require a Gas engineer who does plumbing as well, like myself. Where abouts are you located?
