Hi, If the pipe is in sound condition it is safe to use. If it is damaged it must be replaced rather than repaired.

I think we have L E A D water pipes coming from the mains to my stop cock and was wondering are they safe to use as i have head mixed diagnoses from friends and family and thought it better to get a professional opinion.
