HI Vyvyan if the leak is at the end of the capped off pipe it may be possible to cut the pipe back a bit further and re-cap it, if there isn't enough pipe before the bend to allow this it would be best to get the bend removed and replaced with a straight section. Get a plumber in to do this for you, they will advise on the best solution. Ed
