Gas hob removal

Posted by Blair Adamson, on
Hello! I am in the process of a kitchen renovation and need to have a gas hob disconnected. Also considering whether I should replace the gas hob with another or go for electric. Is there a big difference in the work required? Should I be looking for a plumber or gas specialist? Thanks!

Hi Blair you need a gas safe engineer. If you swopped to an electric hob you would need a suitable supply to power it, if you have no supply it would mean extra cost for cabling etc so might be easier to stick with the gas. Ed
