Moving a radiator

Posted by Victor Adepegba, on
I currently have a radiator on one end of my second reception room which already has laid down wood flooring. This room is a converted garage so I'm not sure where the gas pipes under the flooring are situated apart from the current radiator location. I am looking to put a built in bookcase on the wall the radiator is currently situated so I want to move the rad to the opposite side of the room under a window and if this isn't feasible, move it to one of the other walls, whichever is most feasible. I want to know what is involved in doing this is and what sort of impact this will have on the current flooring. I don't want any exposed pipework. How long does a job like this take?
