Hi Maggie if you aren't thinking leak then there's only one strange sweet smell I can think of! Perhaps your neighbour has got green fingers and is growing something they can smoke once cultivated! It's more common than you think! Ed
Strange smell in bathroom

My neighbour (in flat below) undertook work to her ceiling, replacing it - it is ceiling below my bathroom. Later that day there was strange slight smell that has got steadily worse over next 2 or 3 month. It's not full on toilet smell and so I'm not thinking leak... But strange - almost sweet, but not pleasant sweet smell. Any ideas what could be cause? - product used? And if product used Will smell go eventually ?
