New Kitchen Installation

Posted by Joanne Hunt, on
I wish to move my kitchen into another room, however, the biggest concern is that I wanted to put the (new) kitchen sink at the front of the property, but the drains etc are at the back. The full run (from the potential kitchen sink) to the drains is approx 9m. The pipework would need to run around two corners. I also wanted to install patio doors on the adjacent wall, to that which the sink would be located. Of the 9m run, these would be at about 3m from the sink, leaving another 6m of pipe-work to reach the drain. Not sure if this would be an option?

You may not be able to achieve the required fall over that distance. You could use a macerator instead which could potentially mean you could install what you want almost anywhere, although allot of plumbers will tell you they don't like them it's a potential solution.
