New water tank

How do I find out if my existing boiler will be suitable if I put in a larger water tank

The output of the boiler will only affect the length of time that it takes to heat a volume of water. If you want to know how long it would take, then find out the output of your existing boiler and how many litres the tank you wish to have fitted is, then type "calculating tank heat up time" into a search engine. You will find online calculators that will tell you how long it will take to heat up that volume of water with the output of your boiler and the desired tank size (temperature change should be entered as 50-60 degrees. You should note that the bigger the boiler output in Kw, the shorter the time to heat the volume of water and the shorter the recovery time back to full heated capacity following use.
