If these tradespeople were hired through Rated People, I'd encourage you to get in touch with our Customer Care Team at ratedpeople(dot)com/contact-us/contact-us-form for advice. How we work is that you post a job on our site which is sent out to tradespeople with the matching trade and who cover your location. After this, up to three tradespeople are able to contact you to quote. Once you post a job, we also email you with a link to our homeowner checklist. This checklist is also visible at ratedpeople(dot)com/c/homeowner-checklist and I recommend reading this to help you choose a tradesperson that you're comfortable hiring. It covers topics such as Gas Safe qualifications, reputation and the contract itself.
