Ground floor wet room drainage

Posted by Kerry Baker, on
I need a wet room for a disabled parent. I have a small bathroom, 3x2m. The drainage would have to be channeled out of the properties concrete base, is this a risk to the structure of the property? The bathroom is on the ground floor. All advice would be greatly appreciated.

No I don't think it would undermine the structure of the building as most toilet wastes on the ground floor go out that way, Under the oversize which is the concrete slab then under a 100 mm pre stressed lintel, Hope that helps, Adrian H E services
