Electric shower

Posted by Margaret Holmes, on
I need an electric shower over the bath to use mainly in summer. Do I need electrical and plumber or are there tradesmen that do it all?

Hi Margaret. The first thing you need to know is that the electrical part of installing an electric shower into your bathroom will require certification, and the electrical contractor will be required to register the work that has been done with a registered Part-P scheme operator. So my advice would be to find an electrician that can plumb in a cold water feed to your shower, it should keep your costs lower as it would only then involve one tradesman.

What would you like to do now?
