Sink blockages

Posted by Rasheedat Adele, on
I keep having blockages in my kitchen sink and sometimes it causes the water to come up in the bath. I am unable to use my washing machine as a result. I have been advised by home serve after they've come out several times that the problem is to do with the way the pipes are connected under the kitchen sink and will need to be reconnected possibly with bigger pipes. The kitchen is next door to the bathroom. Could you tell me what this might reasonably to repair in south east london and how long it should take to repair.

It sounds to me like the best option is to separate the two appliances, bath and sink, and run new waste pipes for both into a 4" soil pipe if you can. Cost wise you are looking at c. £500
