How long is a plumber's work guaranteed.

Posted by Ros Lythgoe, on
Last year we had some remodelling done on our upstairs bathroom. We changed the room into a disabled person's shower room. The builders, and especially the plumber were slow, tardy, and talked more than they worked. The plumbers work: leaked, three times, once through the ceiling; the tiling was untidy and amateurish; the water coming out of the basin was minimal. We complained, he said he had fixed it. Two days ago, the cold water actually stopped coming out of the combination tap. We believe, as this is within a year of the end of the project that the plumber should not charge to rectify this.
