We have moved into a property and was explained that showers leaks on the floor. I discovered that the tap below the tub is leaking and waste pipe us dripping. When the bath is full, the the bathroom floor and downstairs has water that needs to be mopped. The trap used under the tub is square shape rather than u type. Should my landlord cover the cost as this is how we found the property with the problem. Could simply tightening the tap and replacing the trap resolve the issue?
