No gas supply. What's best option for water and radiator heating? Looking at instant water heater and electric radiators? Expensive to run?

Electric heating can be more expensive than gas. Depends how you go about it. Night storage heaters are an option but you need an Economy 7 supply installed by your utility provider. If not then there are a range of options for heating from simple panels heaters that have timers and can use mains supply sockets to more intelligent ones that will cost a lot more and require an electrician to fir and provide supplies to. Look at credaheating.co.uk dimplex.co.uk Farouk.co.uk ekorad.co.uk. Supply will be the issue in the end as to cost. Basically the more you spend the more you will save on running costs. As for water heating then yes you can fit an instant water heater, Screwfix do one at around £100 (Galaxy GAP95) that will heat either enough for two hot taps - ie kitchen and bathroom - or 1 tap and a mains mixer shower. You may need a plumber to fit that although some electricians, like myself, would be able to do it. Hope that all helps. If I can help further let me know. Stephen
