Hi Mark I need a bit more info when you turn the shower on does the boiler fire up and then go out? As if this is the case may just be the shower head needs descaling as the boiler is overheating due to insufficient flow of water
Hot water not working - shower only

Last week the hot water in the shower stopped working. Kitchen and bathroom sink taps were fine. I checked the boiler pressure which was at zero so used the internal filling key to get it to 1.5.
It doesn't seem to have made any difference. Other taps still working fine but shower is hot for about a minute, then slowly goes cold. It warms up a bit then cold again. If you turn it off and wait for a couple of minutes, it starts hot then goes cold again.
Not sure what else to try? Thermostat on the tap is fine I think...
