Im having a new bathroom fitted how can i block the toilet soil pipe until my new toilet is fitted?

Hi Karen, if this is a temp measure, scrunch up some newspapers and insert at the pipe entrance (do not push it all the way in) and tape a bag over the pipe. If its not a temp measure, your plumber should be able to cap this off for you.
