How long does it take to respond to an enquiry?

Posted by Tamara Burgess, on
I posted a job on here this morning but no one has contacted me yet. How long will it take? Should I make my enquiry to a company directly instead?

Hi Tamara, You could certainly do that if you wish but I'd recommend updating your job first, giving extra information such as relevant dimensions, whether you’re supplying materials, details of your budget constraints, etc. To update a job, you’ll need to: 1. Log in to your account from our homepage. 2. Click ‘My jobs’ from the main navigation. 3. Select the job you wish to update. 4. Click the ‘Update job’ button. 5. Add or remove any details you need to your job description, budget etc. 6. Click ‘Update your job’ to submit changes. If you've received an email from us suggesting that you update your job, you can simply click the link in the email to be taken directly to the update screen for that job. It’s this information that tradespeople use to provide an accurate quote, so it’s worth being as specific and detailed as possible. I hope this helps and your job gets snapped up. Thanks, Natalie Ask an expert team
