Shower - using after a long period not in use

We have had a pump fitted to get our digital aqualisa shower working again after a long period not in use. There would have been stagnant water in the pipe between the loft and the shower. Do we need to do anything to clean the shower? Is there risk of legionnaires disease?

Hi Judith I would just run the shower for a good 10 minutes on its own and you should be absolutely fine!
