Yes it sounds like you may have a faulty. Mixer tap I assume you do have a mixer on the sink that's Allowing the cold to pass through

Out kitchen mixer tap intermittently doesn't provide hot water from our combi boiler. Could it be the tap that is faulty. Our bathroom sink and bath tap work fine. Thanks
