Hi, It Sounds Like Your BallValve In the Loft Tank Needs to Be Replaced, As They Wear they Vibrate and cause a horrible noise, as it is connected to your mains water along with your kitchen tap, by shutting the kitchen tap, it can cause water hammer and for the ballvalve to shudder and make Noises. Yes it is air in the system or the water pressure is too high
