Power shower woes

Posted by Andrew Stuart, on
Triton AS2000X Thermostatic power shower which was purchased a few years ago to replace an old Triton AS2000 unit with failed pump. Fed from hot water tank and mains as far as I'm aware. If left alone, will generally work in the morning but if switched off wont work for rest of day, so we all have to have shower one after the other without switching it off. Sometimes there is no hot water, sometimes no cold, and like this morning - no water at all, just the pump going. Can sometimes get it to work by switching it on and off a few times at the unit or the ceiling switch, which makes me think it isnt a straight forward air lock.. Everytime you switch if off then on there is a different issue (no hot, no cold, no water) and it can alternate between these issues until it starts working properly. any ideas?
