Water doesn't drain after kitchen sink and tap replcement

Posted by Olga Massalova, on
The kitchen fitter replaced the worktops, sink and tap. We didn't really use the sink much in the evening following the works. The following evening, today, the water started to drain very slowly. When the dishwasher was on the water was almost overflowing the sink. Now it takes half an hour for the glass of water to drain. There were no problems at all prior to sink/tap replacement. What has gone wrong? Please help! Thank you.

It sounds as though the sink has become blocked with waste from the work, a plunger should clear it.
