Banging motorised valve and heating not coming on

Recently repressurised the combi boiler and now the heating doesn't come on and a motorised value is banging when the boiler tries to fire up. I've opened the value to manual and that solved the issue until the heating switched off and tried to come on again as the same problem.is happening (will try securing the valve open).. I think the valve or the motor is stuck. Not sure if that is related to repressurising the boiler or coincidence. Can anyone help?

Combi boilers don't have motorised valves, its more likely to be a diverter. Without looking at the boiler, and the system it's hard to say what the actual cause is
