Dishwasher water pipe burst

Posted by Richard Stoddart, on
My dishwasher pipe keeps bursting. I’m talking bi-weekly. There are no kinks etc. I have heard about stainless steel pipes but can’t buy in uk? Any ideas as to what can possibly cause this? *pipe bursts mid-pipe so it’s not the connection, seems to burst in same place too!!

Hi . This is likely to be due to high water pressure . You may need a water hammer arrestor installed . This will quieten noisy , banging pipes and reduce the stress on your pipe work. They are around £20 to buy.Braided hoses will last longer and start at around £18 each I hope this helps
