Sump pump

Posted by christine gross, on
The water table in my yard is at 10 inches so my sump pump goes off frequently. In March the weather was very dry so it only went off twice a day. We had heavy rain, sleet and 4-5 inches of snow recently. The snow melted the last 2 days. The pump is going off every 1-2 minutes. I also noticed my gutter is bad. It pulled away from the house so the snow melted behind it and went directly on the ground. It never reached the downspout. I'm hoping this is why the pump is going off and not a broken sewer. Any suggestions?
