Replace kitchen tap

Kitchen tap has been dripping on and off for many months (?years)- have had a plumber look at it some time ago and replaced washers etc but I think it needs replacing. Husband says "I couldn't see a join for detaching the "tails" with a nut, so my concern is that the tails are just copper pipes that have been welded/ braised in place." TIA

They would not have been welded in place, all taps are screw on at the point of the tap. Isolate supply. Take flexible pipes off Take off tap Replace
