Fitting new kitchen tap

Posted by LYNSEY STEWART, on
Hi I want to fit a new kitchen monobloc tap with flexi hose pipes But my old monobloc tap was fitted with 2 solid copper pipes which connected to 2 L shaped pipes, both of these have nuts at both ends. What I want to know is will the new flexi hose pipes fit into the old connections or do I need to get more updated connecters Thanks

hi if you isolation valves for the hot and cold supply for the existing kitchen tap, then I would first turn these off and remove everything after the isolation valve and fit tap connectors in place. you will need a small piece off copper pipe between the isolation valve and tap connector. the flexi hose from the taps will then fit on the tap connector. kind regards
