Hi,
Our thermostat functions for heating the hot water and the radiators is switched off but our boiler is making a loud buzzing/humming noise. The hot water taps are also running scalding water when you run them. This noise has been happening since about 7pm this evening.
Is this dangerous? I’m worried of an electrical fault or a build up of pressure or something happening. It is as if the hot water is still being heated even with everything switched off. Does this sound correct?
Is there anything we can do until we can call our landlord in the morning?
