Commode not flushing

My commode quit flushing. When you flush it the water rises to the top and after setting for awhile it drains all the water out but just a little bit left in the bowl. When running water in the bathroom sink it gurgles in the commode. When plunging stuff came up in the bathtub. The commode was snaked and plunged. The commode was taken up and the guy used a auger andhe went under the house and claimed he snaked the pipe all the way and could not find a clog. We just had the septic tank pumped so what could be the problem. The other commode is flushing for now.
