My kitchen sink will not drain. If I remove the cap at the clean out spot on the vertical pvc pipe outside the water will come out there. So I am assuming there is a clog farther down in the line that runs to the city sewer. There is a sharp bend where that vertical pipe meets the line going to the sewer. What is the best way for me to try to clean the clog? Would a regular water hose work? Or do I need something like a snake or one of the many things I've seen that fit on the end of a hose like a drainjet? It's that sharp bend that makes it seem it would be difficult to reach.
