Kitchen sink blockage

Off and on for a while the kitchen sink backs up, can you advise what may be the issue or what i can do. I've tried unblocking using a plunger, some drain unblocker, some other remedies e.g. baking soda and vinegar but nothing seems to work for the long term. Are there any long term fixes for this?

you need to address the waste pipe. maybe not installed correctly or the blockage may possible be due to washing up powders which has fat in them. i hope this helps
