Adding water to toilet bowl

I have a dirty water tube from an RO (75 GPD) unit that I need to drain for a large aquarium. If I were to route it to the toilet bowl would the bowl drain or fill up? Option B is to use a diamond bit to carefully drill a hole above the water line in the reservoir tank.
