Waste trap for dishwasher

Hi, I am plumbing a dishwasher where a sink used to be. The sink used to be in an island, but now only the dishwasher will be in the island. The current waste pipe comes out from the ground vertically with no traps. What sort of trap/waste piping do I need to add so only the dishwasher waste is running into the existing vertical pipe?
