Thermostatic shower

I had a new thermostatic bar shower fitted, (there used to be a concealed shower.) when I turn shower on there’s no cold water coming out only hot water, I turned the water off disconnected the cold water to shower and turned water back on and cold water came out of the pipe. I’ve also isolated the hot on the combi but still no cold came through the shower. Please can anyone help
