Outside drain backing up and smells.

When it backs up there seems to be paper mush, however this pipe seems to attach at to the drainpipe not the toilet. Tried to clear using long pipe rods. Even using the plunger attachment was unsuccessful as the water level was plunged away then filled back up.

Hi Florence, Sounds like it is a blockage very far down the line. Have you managed to sort this yet? Thanks
