Low pressure hot water to taps .

Posted by Roy Denton, on
How can I improve the pressure of my hot water taps to match my cold water taps? I have a normal gas boiler for central heating and hot water, my hot water vented tank is in the airing cupboard on the landing.

There are several options the pressure at the hot water tap depends on the height above the tap or shower head of the small hot water feed tank ( this is called the head ) you can increase this height. Alternately you can fit a sealed cylinder to provide hot water at mains pressure. If you are not feeding a bath then a 15 ltr 3Kw electric water heater will give you good pressure at taps.
