Help me find my leak

Posted by Jackie Wiles, on
Came home and could hear water running down my walls in kitchen. The water was coming through the plaster where they were boxed in and was absolutely soaking. Turned water off and boiler and opened taps till it was fully drained. Called plumber who turned everything back on but nothing . Walls started drying out and nothing since . Couple of my radiators were leaking but very little and I can hear a drip above my wardrobe in spare room when heating is turned on.i can also hear pipes all the time when heating is off. I'm going crazy trying to get to the bottom of it . I would be grateful if anyone has any idesa

First if pressure gauge on boiler does not drop then leak is on cold or hot water systems. If you turn off water supply and drain then any leak or noise is from boiler heating circuit. If you have water tank turn off hot water at tank if leak stops fault is hot water pipes. If you have combi boiler then turn of water supply to combi if leak stops leak is on hot water feed from boiler to taps. If none of the above stops leak leak is on cold water supply.
