I moved into a property that has a Heatstore HS10U installed. (10ltr) it has pipework that is approx 2m from cold supply to the heater itself and between the two, a tees fitting that takes water to the rest of the property. From what i've read, if the pipework is less than 2.8M from supply to water heater, an expansion vessel is required yet none have been installed? should this have been installed? or do I not need it? I have also read that if there's a tees to a cold water tap that is over 2.8M then this bypasses requirement for 2.8M to the water heater? but again, i'm not sure which is accurate if any?
