Isolation valve - toilet

Posted by David Crowther, on
I need to replace flapper in toilet but (predictably) it transpires that isolation valve is defective as well, so I can' t turn off water locally. Will I need to drain whole system to allow me to replace isolation valve, or can I just turn off water at mains? Thank you
